College life may be very different at the moment, and it may seem as though our attention is exclusively on the adjustments needed to steer us through the COVID-19 crisis, but UNCF remains focused on the future. Even though you’re not on campus, deadlines for scholarships are still proceeding on normal timelines and several are due in April and May.
The program helps create a diverse pipeline of college educated professionals poised to assume fulfilling off-camera careers in entertainment. Closes April 15.
The program is an initiative designed to identify and provide scholarship and academic support for high school students interested in STEM degrees and careers in STEM fields. The program awards 100 scholarships annually.
The scholarship is open to rising juniors attending UNCF-member institution Bennett College. This renewable need-based scholarship is up to $5,000 for two years to the selected scholar.
The program was established to financially support students from Nevada who are enrolling in HBCUs in the fall of 2020. Applicants must be permanent residents of the metropolitan Las Vegas region.
UNCF King Lab Scholarship (Massachusetts)
The scholarship is for graduating seniors from Wellesley High School in the Town of Wellesley, MA, who are participants in METCO.
High school seniors planning to enroll at an HBCU can receive up to $20,000 (based on need) per year, plus other benefits, renewable annually for four years of undergraduate studies.
William L. & Mary Ann Brown STEM Scholarship (North Carolina)
The program provides one renewable scholarship to graduating high school seniors attending a high school in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina planning to major in and pursue a career in the STEM field.
The scholarship program is for students attending a UNCF-member college or university during the fall of 2020.
